About the job

Project that you'll work on

You'll be working on a project with a U.S.-based health tech client that helps medical, dental, and specialty practices drive revenue by increasing patient payments and streamlining practice management and payment processing.

The team

Our current tech lead is moving to a different role as we reorganize the project team. The remaining team members include a product owner, a scrum master, two backend developers, two frontend developers, and a QA engineer. Your team is using PHP 8, Symfony 6 for the backend (as a REST API), TypeScript/Angular and JavaScript/React for frontend technologies. Everything is powered up with Docker. We try to stand up to industry standards, following best practices. We support agile values and work within the Scrum framework in order to learn something new from each iteration.

Tech stack & Collaboration tools

Your expertise & experience

  • 4+ years of experience in PHP & JS and/or TS
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team
  • Experience with PHP framework (Symfony, Zend, Laravel)
  • Experience with Angular/React
  • Coding best practices (SOLID, DRY, design patterns)
  • Experience in Agile & SCRUM working environments
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Communication skills

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the team
  • Supporting teammates (frontend, backend and QA)

Money talk

The minimum salary we offer for this position is 22.000 HRK // cca. 2.900 EUR (net).
