As with all good software, it started with a problem.
As Devōt grew, we began developing processes and guidelines, documenting everything in one place. However, navigating through all this documentation can be tiresome and time-consuming.Observing how people preferred to ask questions and wait for responses instead of searching through existing documentation highlighted the need for a better solution.

To ensure that our chatbot could accurately identify and provide relevant answers, we taught AI about internal documentation and converted that documentation into embeddings. This allowed the AI to understand and compare questions effectively.

In an industry not traditionally driven by advanced technology, our client recognized the growing importance of AI to stay competitive in the evolving tax landscape. They were faced with a decision: either automate the tax report process to improve efficiency or risk having to sell the business due to falling behind more technologically advanced competitors.We conducted an in-depth product discovery, analyzing the competition and delivering a roadmap for success. A proof of concept was created using a large language model (LLM) to guide users through tax report preparation.
