About the job
You’ll work on a long-term project with a U.S.-based health tech client whose main mission is improving healthcare.
You’ll get to…
- Collaborate with the frontend team to build robust, scalable backend services and APIs
- Develop new features and enhance existing functionality, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented server-side code, following best practices and industry standards
- Design and optimize databases, queries, and integrations for maximum efficiency and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality
- Stay up to date with the latest backend technologies and architectural patterns, continuously improving your skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, system architecture, and project timelines
About you
This open application is for PHP Engineers of all seniority levels. Our expectations vary depending on seniority level and project. We will provide general guidelines here, but we hope to meet you and discuss them in more detail!
We consider the following technical criteria, depending on seniority:
- 1+ years of professional experience in backend development with a focus on PHP
- Proficiency in Symfony framework
- Experience with PHPUnit
- Understanding of coding best practices (SOLID, DRY, design patterns)
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and 3rd-party services
- Experience with GIT version control
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Frontend skills in React and/or Vue, Next.js
- English level (B1/B2)
You are extra if...
- You possess knowledge of frontend technologies like React
